Generally,yes. SpinBase 2 has a built-in preamp, to work with turntables without one built in. Spinbase 2 also works with turntables that have a built-in pre-amp, by connecting them to its Line-Input.
You can operate SpinBase 2 either by using the front knob or the remote control. Press the knob to turn it on, and turn to adjust the volume. Press the knob again to change sources. To turn it off, press the knob for 3-second. The remote control can also be used to power the unit on and off, as well as adjust Volume, Bass, Treble, Listening features and Source.
SpinBase 2 has multiple inputs—including Phono, Line, Optical Digital, USB for a Flash Drive, and Wireless compatible with your Bluetooth devices—you can easily connect your turntable, CD player, streaming devices, or any other audio source. There are side-mounted outputs for headphones. And an output for a subwoofer or additional powered speakers.
Yes. There is a subwoofer output and when a subwoofer is connected, SpinBase 2 has a high-pass filter that lets it play even louder by sending all the low bass to the subwoofer instead of the built-in speakers.
