What makes FreePlay sound different from standard premium outdoor speakers?
Most outdoor speakers process audio into a single, compressed mono channel to save space, resulting in flat, harsh sound profiles. FreePlay utilizes a true, wide-separated front-firing stereo configuration powered by dual Aluminum cone woofers, dome tweeters, and a massive rear passive radiator. This recreates the depth, separation, and warmth of a premium home audio system outdoors.

Can I plug a microphone into FreePlay for events or public speaking?
Yes. Tucked securely behind the element-proof rear rubber flap is a physical 3.5mm AUX analog input. You can plug any standard microphone (using a 3.5mm or 1/4-inch to 3.5mm adapter) directly into the speaker, making FreePlay the perfect, portable public address system for outdoor events, announcements, or gatherings.

Can I pair multiple FreePlay speakers together?
Absolutely. FreePlay features advanced Bluetooth LE 6.0 technology, allowing you to link up to 99 FreePlay units seamlessly with a single touch. Whether you want to create a massive, synchronized soundstage for a large outdoor gathering or distribute pristine audio throughout an entire property, the system scales effortlessly.

How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
Thanks to the included premium 45W fast-charging wall block and USB-C cable, the massive internal battery pack can be fast-charged from completely drained to 100% capacity in approximately 2.5 hours.

Does the wireless top charging pad work while the speaker is running on battery?
Yes. The integrated 5W wireless top charger and the bi-directional 45W USB-C port can both charge your phones, tablets, or source audio devices while you are streaming, whether the speaker is plugged into a wall or running completely on portable battery power out in the wild.

What happens if the speaker drops in the water or gets covered in sand?
FreePlay is IP67 certified dustproof and waterproof. As long as the rear protective rubber input port flap is snapped shut, the speaker can handle heavy downpours, ocean spray, sand dunes, or being fully submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without issue. If it gets dirty, you can safely rinse it off under a tap.
